You must present a valid ID and must be 21 years of age or older. It is illegal for people under 21 to buy, have or use retail marijuana.

Every customer’s ID will be checked twice, once when you arrive and again before initiating a sale.

You are allowed to purchase one ounce of marijuana a day.

There is no consumption allowed at the dispensary.  All dispensaries in Grand Junction have this restriction.

It is a violation of state and local laws to consume in public. 

If you are traveling, make sure the property where you are staying allows marijuana. 

If it is your first time consuming start low and go slow. Look for products with lower THC levels and see how it affects you before consuming more.

Do not drive after consuming marijuana. It is recommended to wait at least 6 hours after vaping or smoking and 8 hours after consuming edibles. Keep in mind that these times may vary depending on tolerance and use. In some cases, you may need to wait longer.

Store marijuana in its original child-resistant container. Be sure to store them in an area that cannot be accessed by children or by pets. If a pet or child consumes any marijuana products, call a vet or health care provider right away or call the poison control hotline (1-800-222-1222). 

When consuming marijuana avoid mixing it with other substances as it can result in adverse side effects. Play it safe and stick to one thing at a time. 

Keep it in Colorado, it is illegal to mail marijuana or have it in an airport. Make sure you use it or dispose of it. When getting rid of marijuana, use a secured container and place it in a safe place that’s out of reach from children like a dumpster. Never leave marijuana in hotel rooms or rental cars because you could be charged additional fees, or it could fall in the hands of a minor.
